The collapse of WTC 7 is the real ‘killer’ evidence in the arsenal of the 9/11 truthers. No plane hit it and of all the seven WTC collapses, its collapse does appear very superficially, to be somewhat similiar to a controlled demolition. However, it soon becomes obvious under closer oberservation, that this is not the case.
When WTC 1 & 2 collapsed downwards, a lot of rubble and burning debris was driven outwards, horizontally with such force, that it instantly demolished WTC 3,4,5 & 6 and badly damaged the south side of WTC 7 and set it on fire. (see picture and diagram below)
Logic and common sense would indicate, that because WTC 7 was further away from North Tower than WTC 3,4,5 and 6 which were right next to it (see diagram below), that this is the reason it didn’t sustain the same level of damage as the other WTC buildings.
When watching videos of WTC 7′s collapse, they all show the undamaged side of the building which was facing away from the WTC buildings (see picture at left). Because of this, the video appears to show a more or less intact building collapsing which helps to explain why some people mistake this for a controlled demolition.
However, when looking at the video at the top of this article, it becomes clear that structural damage and intense fires which raged for 7 hours after the initial impact, were repsonsible for the collapse of WTC 7 and not high explosives/thermite etc as in a controlled demolition.
